More often than not people have been mislead with respect to Astrology and what it can do. The problem with a predictive science like astrology is that, the person or agency practising it will have to be genuinely knowledgeable of this science. Must be willing to go to the depths at the required level.
There are only a few people in the world who have gone to those depths and understood the true methods and techniques to reap benefits out of Astrology horoscope predictions. Any solution seeking methodology should have these distinctive phases - 1. Problem identification - what the problem is, 2. Problem analysis - why is the problem occurring, 3. Solution identification and recommendation- how can the problem be resolved and the recommendations and 4. Solution implementation - implement the identified / recommended solution to eradicate the problem.
Astrological Horoscope Analysis exactly provides steps for phases 1 and 2 solution seeking endeavour for Life problems. This brings us to two questions what is Astrology and horoscope and why use them for determining and analysing life's problems.
We wont go into defining what Astrology is and what a horoscope is. You can find plenty of material on definitions and volumes about each when you Google "Astrology" and "Horoscope". What we are aiming to bring here is a fresh perspective of how these can be used for Life Problem definition and Analysis as mentioned earlier.
Astrology is a science which uses planetary and astronomical data (with zodiac, stars, signs etc.) to predict a person's behaviour, personality, life events etc. There are many categories of Astrological sciences practised. And there is some good material on the various types on the web as well. But here we are concerned about that category which looks at Life events. That brings us to what a horoscope is.
A horoscope is a planetary chart of a person at the time of birth in the zodiac. Hence - "the time of birth" becomes very important here and the hence the accuracy of it, and its not just the date of birth - which most of the traditional astrology deals with. As with the earth, every planet is moving in space in time and each passing second the planets change their positions.
Just taking a step back to answer the question - Why zodiac and the twelve signs? Astrology (at least Vedic astrology) is probably two thousand years old if not earlier. At that time people did not have maps or ways to define planetary positions in degrees and minutes. So they divided the solar system or the zodiac into twelve signs that determined the change points in space, which if a planet crossed, it would change the way it affected an individual.
We will cover how and why planets affect people and their lives in Part-II of this blog but if we assume for now that they do, then it is also true as per the earlier logic, that, where they are positioned at the time of birth affects each person and his life in a different way.
So we now know that a person's horoscope (Planetary birth time chart) given that his or her time of birth is exact, is unique to him or her. (the possible combinations could be as high as - 40,ooo trillion trillion). And this is an exact science, since this is based purely on astronomical data.
Steps 1 and 2 of Life Problem identification and analysis stem out from the above hypothesis. Apart from the individuals' birth chart or horoscope, the tools or techniques which are used to do the analysis are based on predictive science - which has evolved over thousands of years of experience. What this science entails is a prediction of life events due to a certain combination of the planetary positions in the astro birth chart.
There is no way we can justify as to whether this part of the predictive science is true or not, except than to try out and believe based on the results. But our experience until now says that most of them have stood the test of scrutiny and reasoning.
In fact it is a reverse theory, we are proposing and progressing. In part-II of this blog we will be looking at the hypothesis which builds upon the prior hypothesis and proposes solutions to the identified and analysed life problems (so Steps 3 and Steps 4 - Solution seeking life cycle).
If those solutions work then it means that, all our hypothesis until now are correct. And the confidence factor keeps increasing with more number of cases reporting success, implementing recommended solutions.
This experiment was started by us a couple of years ago, based on a very in-depth knowledge passed-on by generations, practising recommendation of Vedic Astrology solutions based on Horoscope. Though the form in which we ourselves practise is ancient and proven, but this outlook, the fresh perspective and the related hypothesis have been formulated based on the vast information now available to us in the form of Astronomy, astro-physics and modern day Astrology and Science.
